Spring 2015 Registration

It's that time of year! Time to register for the Spring 2015 semester of Slidell Family Co-op! Please read on for details about when and where registration will occur.

When: Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.

Where: Ohana Pier, 1321 Gause Blvd., Suite 3, Slidell, LA 70458

Who: Anyone who wishes to attend the Spring 2015 semester of Slidell Family Homeschoolers Co-Op. This is an ADULT-ONLY REGISTRATION! Due to noise concerns, we must ask you do not bring children to this registration. (Nursing/Newborns are allowed.)

How it works:
  • Please arrive promptly and with paperwork listed below already filled out. Prior to registration there will be a short orientation to overview all necessary information about the Co-op and procedure of the evening.
  • Registration does occur on a first-come, first-serve basis. Classes fill up fast, and teachers and co-teachers will have already pre-registered their children. So, please arrive early (but not before 6:30) since we will give out numbers as people arrive to make the process as fair as possible. 
  • Please preview our Policies and Procedures PRIOR to arrival! If you did not attend our informational meetings, please email slidellfamilycoop@gmail ASAP with any questions.
  • Co-op membership dues are $45.00 a semester PER FAMILY. Class fees are per child per class per semester. You will pay the total of dues plus all classes for which you are registering your child(ren). This may be paid via cash or check and is to be submitted PRIOR to registering for classes. Payment will be submitted along with your paperwork upon your arrival. Class registration and payment will occur AFTER orientation.
  • You will be required to sign up for volunteer positions PRIOR to registering for classes. At least 2, possibly 3 volunteer positions will be required. 
  • Registration takes place on computer, so please bear with us as we get your children registered. Prior to arrival, please review all the classes available and have several choices for each hour for your child(ren) in case their desired class is full. Since a class may fill, we ask you to not fill out your check until you have your official total OR to bring extra cash.

Please print and complete the membership form, behavior contract, and photo release  from this Information Packet, and bring to the registration.
